Review

This single is a must have for fans of synthpop music or anyone interested in the genre. A long time synthpop fan, I first heard Blue October on a synthpop compilation CD. I was immeadiately impressed with the vocals of the duo. The sound is clear, smooth, and straight from the heart. The title song, "Believe" is a beautifully mellow piece. All of the remixes are masterfully done (containing the actual vocals as opposed to just samples).

Track 1, Believe (SlickMix), keeps the song sweet & simple, focusing on the melody and vocals
Track 2, Hope, is worthy of a single in and of itself. It's a slower synthpop ballad, with a positive message.
Track 3, Believe (ClubMix), is a slightly more elaborate mix compared to track 1, the beat is slightly heaver, yet the song retains a mellow groove.
Track 4, Overextended Dream Mix, is true to it's title. This track has a very dreamy feel, almost a lullabye.
Track 5, Blaze A Trail, is the most uptempo song on this single. This song, like Hope, is single-quality material. And true to Blue October's style, Blaze A Trail is a wonderfully positive, upbeat, and motivational song.
